House of Samurai – A House that reflects happiness
Designed for an author known as the Happiness Maverick, this 3BHK apartment in Bandra translates the philosophy of his books into an expressive interior rooted in industrial design. Drawing from the author’s brand palette of yellow, black, and grey, the home features exposed electrical conduits, metal furniture pieces, and custom wall lamps inspired by his book logos. A bold, open kitchen looks into the living space, making it ideal for entertaining, a nod to the author’s love for cooking and conversation.
Every room captures a sense of curiosity and freedom — from the open-plan master bathroom paired with a wooden four-poster bed, to a dedicated home studio and library for writing and reflection. Whimsical, personalized elements bring The Design Plexus’s “Why not?” ideology to life: a Japanese sword as the main door handle, a tree log dining table, and a painted brand mascot on the terrace. This home doesn’t just reflect the client; it embodies a life of joyful rebellion and boundless creativity.
